Allegators Under the Rainbow

Allegators Under the Rainbow are of the most royal kine to alliance. They lie lurking and waiting for that moment to strike. They are so beautiful in their golden acclaim careful not to betray their locale and cold blood. SNAP. black eyes reveal the empty sadness of jealous rages. Bacteria covers parasitic splendor in which they nourish while lounging and flaking in the murk unclear nondescript careful in the shadows not reaching the healing sunshine glistening above they stay in the stagnant water looking for the rainbow as a disguise in golden concealment of aloha smiles secreting lies. SNAP.

rainbows and dolphins

a week later i was driving home around sunset and I saw two amazing rainbows. One was a rainbow window. There was a cloud with a square right in the middle like a window in the cloud. In the cloud was a rainbow! Another painting!

Then I saw another amazing rainbow. I call "Moving Rainbow". A small rain cloud was cruising on past the mountain. Traveling below it was rain coming out of the cloud. The rain was a rainbow moving with the cloud. another message for me! I will paint this too and post!

I was driving to a storytelling session at the bookstore. the story teller told this story while holding a stick wrapped in rainbow colored threads with a dolphin on top: (paraphrased)
We were a people living on the island, everyone was happy until it started to get too crowded. The leaders held a meeting and said people must leave the island. Specific people were chosen. Old people to pass on tradition. Young people to have strength in a new land. Many young adults and children. The people began to prepare to leave. One woman asked "How will we get to our new land? The canoes are too small for the ocean". The leader help up a rainbow stick and said here, you will travel over to the mainland on a rainbow bridge. The people... continued...

night rainbow

I painted this coconut of a night rainbow. A few weeks later after I sold it, I saw a night rainbow!
I was camping out with my boys on the beach. It was night and we were playing on the sand and making a round track running in it.

There were night fisherman out on the beach too. The were using glow in the dark bait and bobbers. Each cast looked like they were casting shooting stars. The green glow would race up into the sky and then fall slowly down into the ocean. It was so dark out there. No light. The stars were so bright above the ocean. There were a few very small drifting clouds sprinkling little drops of rain. It was luxurious after such a long hot day. After while the moon rose behind us. It was that extra bright moon that happen in the end of August. A brilliant night rainbow stretched across the ocean and way up into the starry dark sky. The ends of the rainbow connected two islands! ours and another across the channel! The colors were just as vivid only the back ground was all dark starry sky.
And it arched way up high 32 miles across to our neighboring island. We were so excited. We danced all around the beach and then went back to our camp and roasted marsh mellows at 10PM.

I thought about how I painted a prediction. The painting and the actual experience were different but came from a same vision. I couldn't help but be reminded in the power of visualization and actually making your ideas and inspirations become reality. I also saw the rainbow as a reminder of my own creative power and that I have been blessed that someone is watching over me. It was a reminder that God is here and things are working for me right now on this deserted remote island in ways I do not yet know. to have hope and faith.

I saw one other night rainbow in canyon country. It was a rainbow circling the full bright moon. A perfect ring of colors surrounding the moon. time to get busy and paint them both on canvas this time! this coconut has two more sides painted to it as well.

prayers

i visited this site. it was so powerful. All i could do was pray and send praise and thankfulness and marvel at this earth and life. I said prayers for the island i live on the whole time i was there. I stayed for 4 hours. I felt a deep foreboding, like the island needed these prayers. like i was to bring blessing back. I took the coastal trail. the mana of the kai and the a'ina was extreme peace i felt in my bones. More healing energy seeking and seeping into my bones. I walked a long labyrinth someone had made on the lava rocks... it looked out across the channel to the island I live on. could see its valleys and beaches. All I could do was send out prayers. I felt wonderful taking the time to think and feel things that I don't take the time to do.

It was so powerful this spot on the pacific blue. I felt pure content and happiness. It was such joy! exhilarating! The turquoise water slooping into the dark grey smooth rocks. clouds hanging above mountains and hills of green. and always those trade winds blow.

bananas

first time i heard real silence a banana leaf uncurled and a whale called from the deep outer space of the ocean as we flew thru the galaxy on star dust in the morning the the gate was open letting the turquoise in the fish came in to see the new banana blossom in bloom with wide eyes swinging in.

silver moon light

silver moon light dancing on the ocean the sound of the surf rushing in like a train across the high desert thru the window....
a rooster crowing out to more roosters...more roosters more roosters... at 1AM.
"the sound of the ocean soothes my restless soul... the sound of the ocean rocks me all night long" Iz
... open space is freeing on my plywood board. what will happen in the fuschia bougainvillea morning...?...
